Cape Fear Airworks opened its doors in the fall of 2007 at KSUT, also known as Cape Fear Regional Jetport in the Oak Island/Southort area of North Carolina.   

Owner Rich Gwin has over 40 years experience in both commercial and general aviation.  He offers outstanding customer service, flexible scheduling, competitive rates and in the spring of 2011, Cape Fear Airworks became a Limited Repair Station authorized to certifiy altimeters and transponders.

The shop is located at Cape Fear Regional Jetport, KSUT (formerly Brunswick County Airport).  Cape Fear Airworks also serves Odell Williamson/Ocean Isle Airport, K60J by appointment.

Rich Gwin is a retired airline executive with a firm foundation in commercial and general aviation and over 40 years total experience in the industry.  He holds an A&P license and is an IA.  He is also factory trained on Robinson Helicopters and Cirrus Aircraft.
